Oil: The Truth (According to the US Gov. Anyway)

Where does my oil come from? Where should I buy gas? Am I supporting terrorism?

We have all gotten many emails in the recent months about oil and its derivatives including the infamous gasoline. But what is the truth? I don't know that I can offer the truth, but I can offer some official information from the United States Government Department of Energy website. As far as the US Gov. is concerned, they are the authority, so hopefully they are somewhat reliable. Please see the following links to learn more about where your gas comes from, who you are supporting by purchasing that gas, and what the long term situation is with the oil economy.

MOST IMPORTANT is the first link, in which the Dept. Of Energy lists the imports for different companies, and talks about Citgo in the first paragraph on the page. Please read if you want to know the truth about where gas comes from.
